Matthew is the Executive Vice President of Credit with nearly 15 years of experience in mortgage and financial services at NewDay USA. A graduate of Towson University where he studied Finance, Matthew began his career in Operations before moving into Compliance and eventually to his current role as Executive Vice President of Credit.
His early work across secondary, post-closing, processing and underwriting gave Matthew a solid foundation for his future in the mortgage business and insight that continues to shape his approach today. He led the Regulatory Compliance team responsible for reviewing state, federal, and agency requirements and working with every operational unit to keep the right controls in place across technology, licensing, and advertising. He's currently leading the Credit/Underwriting team at NewDay USA.
